Oh well no more shagging monkeys then I guess  Puke

It can spread between people through close contact
The virus generally spreads to people from infected wild animals such as rodents and primates, found in the rainforests of Central and West Africa, but human-to-human transmission can also occur. Similar to viruses like Ebola, transmission only happens in close proximity by contact with lesions, body fluids, respiratory droplets or contaminated materials such as bedding or clothes.
Despite the high cost of living it remains popular

I was more worried about the media blaming its spread on homosexuals.
Its not really an STD, but rather spread by close contact as you say.

i must say its weird why we are seeing so many cases of this fairly uncommon disease spreading now.

Its the new pandemic, at least its some fresh air after covid.

The CDC is already recommending people wear masks to stop its spread and its not even an airborne disease.

Not airborne historically but what happens when a COVID infected person (or other mammal) also contracts Monkey Pox and a hybrid results?

I remember WHO had similar fears about swine flu (highly transmissible) and bird flu (high case fatality rate) hybridising. https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7122937/

The PM will have us all isolating next year because of this in the lead up to the election and she will tell us how great their government is in looking after us, that is why we should reelect them ... FAT chance!
