Win11 Taskbar clock -seconds
#1
How to enable the Taskbar clock to show seconds?

In my Taskbar behaviors settings, there's no option to "Show seconds in system tray clock"  as suggested some sites.

Windows 11 Version: 22H2 (OS Build 22621.963)

There's no updates available.

You can probably do that with 7+ Taskbar Tweaker

This works - Just tried it.  Go to https://winaero.com/how-to-enable-second...indows-11/  Scroll down to the bottom till you find the title  "Solution for both Windows 11 22H2 and 21H2"  Download the Explorer Patcher -- Run it and follow the instructions as per the web page

from what I read there was a specific decision at MS to remove the seconds in Win 11. I tried a few of the workarounds listed online last night and nogo

confirm this one, seems to mess with the layout a wee bit but it did add the seconds to the clock.
On my win 11 I ended up with a win 10 start button on the LHS with the start menu opening in the middle... Restores the taskbar context menu as well

Just saw that as well.  Tongue  Looked and You can put it back to W11 Default - Open the program - Taskbar - Set it to W11 (Default) restart explorer and wha-la back to W11.

BUT in doing so also removes the seconds from the clock.

Did read somewhere that MS removed the options in W11.  BUT again just thought of something ?  OK checked and the date / time is in long format HH.mm.ss Sad
