Android Smart watch recommendation

Looking for a smart watch ~$450
Never owned one before. Don't know what should I look for, really. Your views and recommendations, please.

Look for last years models of Garmins often can be picked up for around $500 when the newest ones are $1000. I don't own one myself but what are you wanting to do with it?
Is it for sport, communication, other reasons? Decide what you want it for and then look for the features you need.

Buy the apple one being advertised. It has some fantastic features. It will tell you when you ovulate and tell you when you have been in a crash in your car. Reasonable price I would assume as in apple products - $plenty.50
