"The head of the United Nations' refugee agency has accused Moscow of violating "fundamental" child protection principles by giving Russian passports to unaccompanied child refugees.

Filippo Grandi added that Russia had then been putting these children up for adoption by Russian families.
He said the UNHCR would try to get access to those affected and try to find solutions in their best interest."



Perhaps Russia might have learned this nasty little idea from America removing children from families trying to cross their border & enter illegally. 
Sometimes humans are an absolutely vile species.

Russia has some of the poorest human rights on record, no surprises here.
The UN wont do anything either because Russia has so much influence, not to mention their veto powers.

  It seems that the UN is largely very often next to useless. I watched Quo Vadis Aida the other night & can recall some of what happened but hadn't realised how the UN mucked up so very badly.
