Widows Security Real-time Protection
#1
Just checked my other machine running Win11  that, the 'Real-time protection' is OFF and I can't turn it back ON.

It says that:  'You're using other antivirus providers'

I have NO other antivirus program installed!   Huh

if you open the windows security center and select "Virus and threat protection" it should tell you which antivirus it thinks you have... ie mine shows Eset...

If it identifies one then I would be inclined to first check it isn't listed in the installed apps list, uninstall if it is - if not download and run it's removal tool...
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

Look for Avast or McAfee, they have a habit of installing without you knowing, or more to the point people dont look at whats pre ticked on some downloads.
Upgrades = Old bugs replaced with new Bugs.
