Israel; Netanyahu & protests.
#1
He & his party are very, very hard right & while Israel has a big population of very orthodox & right wing Jews, there's also a large number of more moderate Jews many of whom are keen to see peace there.
It seems he didn't expect these widespread protests

"Israelis have been protesting for months against PM Netanyahu’s proposed judicial changes, which critics say will undermine the justice system.
Israeli President Isaac Herzog has called for an immediate halt to the government’s controversial judicial reform plans which have sparked months of street protests in the country.
Netanyahu is charged with fraud, breach of trust and accepting bribes after three years of investigation.

Attorney General Avichai Mandelblit has charged Netanyahu after investigating reports of him accepting gifts from millionaire friends and allegedly seeking regulatory favours for media tycoons in return for favourable coverage.
Netanyahu denies the allegations and pleads not guilty as the trial continues."

I think they still have Kibbutz, not sure but they did seem to wok very well in early days. It would also be an excellent thing if they'd stop being such complete & utter bastards to the Palestinians, & the interesting about that aspect is that the first people to speak out against Israeli treatment of Palestinians were those who'd survived the death camps.
They should have been listened to.

Yeah...right. Of course they control world banks Big Grin Rolleyes

Its weird isn't it - no one in their right mind would want to control every damn thing so surely that suggests a deeply disturbed nitwit.

After the holocaust those poor Jews needed a country of their own. Ah, here's a bit of spare land we can give them, shift those others out of the way, and they can call it Israel. Those bloody Colonial British again.
