I am ok with the method but, I am wanting to install the Win11 ISO over an existing Win10 SSD but that is Legacy.
By using the Rufus method, will the SSD be converted from MBR to GPT or do I need to do that myself and if so how?

Thanks for that. I have, and have used in this case, Anomei Partition Assistant Pro and have changed from MBR to GPT. I have yet to install a newer mb before I use the HDD. However, my concern really is do I need to do something other than the MBR/GPT conversion to the HDD to allow the use of UEFI instead of Legacy BIOS on the said HDD?

The board supports TPM2 and secure boot but the CPU is gen 6/7. I intend to use the Rufus Windows 11 method to upgrade the OS and will allow me to use W11. I will ensure that the BIOS will be set to UEFI.

if you already have a functioning win 10 or earlier OS on the drive you can also do a simple regedit to bypass the cpu checks for the win 11 upgrade. That way you can just use the standard windows installers. Link is in the other thread for that... But either way works...
