TVNZ unfortunately appears to have been impacted by an unprecedented surge of wokeness, and it's disheartening to see that the state owners bear a significant responsibility for this situation.
Notably, Winston Peters has fearlessly voiced his concerns, aligning with the sentiments expressed by the former host, Graham Bell. These individuals have bravely spoken out against the concerning trend that has permeated the network.
In a sea of mediocre content flooding our television screens, this particular show stood out as one of the few gems that genuinely entertained and engaged viewers, myself included. Alongside programs like Motorway Patrol, it offered a refreshing and captivating viewing experience.
Regrettably, it appears that the prioritization of radical left ideologies has taken precedence over the show's commitment to presenting objective and honest content. It is truly disheartening to witness the producers' being accused of "over-representation" of a specific race on the show, as dictated by the individuals encountered by law enforcement.
The importance of accurately and truthfully reflecting the demographics of our society cannot be understated. From my observations, I find little to no evidence of bias or excessive representation on this show. The program has diligently strived to maintain a fair and balanced portrayal of the realities it aims to depict.
Over the past two decades, this show has played an instrumental role in solving numerous serious crimes. Its contribution to crime prevention and law enforcement efforts cannot be overstated. However, it seems that the concerns of the far left, who appear to disregard the escalating crime rates in New Zealand, have prevailed. Unfortunately, we have all borne witness to the rise in gun violence and robberies over the past five years, and regrettably, this trend is only expected to worsen following the cancellation of this invaluable program
