Weird thing is ive got a friend who suffers real bad with CFS and he was really worried what COVID would do to him, luckily he was no worse off after eventually getting COVID but ive heard from others that did not fare so well.

COVID seems to have the ability to reboot latent viruses including shingles and EBV. As CFS is often associated with EBV maybe if that virus was already active then COVID's effect on its effects would be negligable.

Shingles is caused by the Herpes zoster virus. Recurrence of shingles is also one of the commonly recorded side effects of COVID vaccination, and I've read in the past that the vaccines for each of these viruses should be separated to limit overloading the immune system.

Yes I had read something about that too.
Your right, chicken pox/shingles is caused by varicella zoster virus which is a herpes class of virus, I guess it would be best you had a shingles shot some time before having a covid shot, ideally its advised to separate time between vaccines in general anyway, apparently you dont get a good immune response if you give too many vaccines at once or in a short timeframe.
