mildly amusing I guess - maybe you could mention to the taxpayers union that Aussie are having their own cost of living crisis, but i'm sure they already know that... Nothing like a good bit of FUD...

Also, what that webpage doesn't tell you is that Aussie's top income tax rate is 47%, compared to NZ's 39%, and from person experience dealing with a family member's affairs there The ATO is brutal when it comes to extracting tax from incoming capital funds from offshore. There's good reason that so many Australians have self employed status in order to minimise their tax burden.
