No, the Devil should keep the fires stoked up around this one!

From what I've read, this report originated with a Telegram channel that specialises in spreading fake news about Putin's health.
I do have other cameras!

If wishful thinking was effective he'd be pushing up daisies by now.

It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

If this is true, it's the best news I've heard all year. There has been rumor about his failing health.

You should read the links posted here, it's not true and is some sort of attempt which is historic and on-going to undermine Putin by gutter press individuals or groups.

I'm pretty sure this was unverified, but I have been hearing reports that he is making less public appearances as of late

Confirmation bias says we want to believe the OP but unfortunately it references Telegram which I think it about the ultimate in CT "reporting" and any site referencing it has no credibility. Damn!

Newsweek is a different story and offers some hope but, again, the article references Telegram. It's getting bad when even MSM crosses to the other side. But then the supposed messages from soldiers' families might just be true.

I guess the question then, is it due to health or security concerns?

He does seem to be paranoid about exposure risks to communicable diseases so limits public events.

Iirc, telegram is also funded by a Russian billionaire, not that I hold anything against telegram, I use it myself.

Who knows, but one thing is for certain that his life is in danger, there are an ever increasing number of russians who have it in for him.
All these health rumors that are circulating may have arisen as an excuse for him avoiding some public appearances?

Reminds me of the time he visited a hospital during covid wearing a hazmat suit and gas mask.
There were a ton of memes going around about that time.
