anyone recovered from stroke how long did it take    . Ihad  TIA  stroke     mild  by    medical standards  i   early nov  4  days  in hospital until  BP  was  brought  down to normal    with drugs .  still on   Statins   .for colestrol   But   still  little sign of recovery was    partially  paralyised down left side  still  walk   &   use  arm    just numbness .   Does seem to improve some days  but then goes back numb .    The stroke foundation just say  everyones different  & if doesnt happen in  first 3  months then its  probably    permanant      .

Sorry to hear that Joe. Best advice? Do what the docs and ot/pts tell you. Hard work, but if you want it back that's what it takes. Best of luck...
