Text in WhatsApp image
#1
Anyone here knows how to type in Text  in a Whatsapp image, like a good morning image?

Windows Whatsapp seems to have removed this feature.  I did quite a bit of Google but to no avail.

Someone posted this:

1) Windows+R, paste C:\Windows\system32\ctfmon.exe and press enter (not is going to happen, and it is ok)

2) Go to C:\Windows\System32 and find ctfmon.exe file

3) Copy ctfmon.exe

4) Windows+R type ShellConfusedtartup and paste ctfmon.exe in this folder

5) You'll need to restart your pc

I tried it but no, doesn't work.

yeah that info you have is a rubbish suggestion

The official help is here

and it does suggest you still can under "Add text to your photo"
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

The 'Official help' won't work!   Can't create the text box.

The 'Click T'  is not available as in attachment 2.

The Web version works OK but not the Desktop App.
The previous WhatsApp for Windows was working perfectly until they forced us to use the WhatsApp  App for Windows from MS Store.

I think the link help is for the good old WhatsApp for Windows.

you're probably right, there is so much outdated info on the web its not funny...  Web version  is really your only choice. in that respect, whether its an oversight or deliberate who knows

Only thing you can do is file a support request and let them know, you never know you might get a response
