It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

That it's taken 50 years & a study from the London school of economics to officialy confirm what has been blindingly obvious for most of those 50 years, says everything.

Those who've benefited from the vile system of Neo Liberalism will not want to give up their ill gotten gains & it could potentially take another 50 years for any fairer system to replace it.

IF we're lucky.

Hoarding.

Is it because the dream of wealth is so entrancing we share it vicariously and feel good rewarding those who have achieved it? Or are we just locked into a system built on doing that for us, unable to find a better way because the winners have all the power along with the wealth?

Suzanne Collins had it right with her Hunger Games. Bring on the revolution.

It might have to come to that; but it needn't if we could just control any urge to become 'filthy rich' & instead see what could be done if we weren't all dazzled by the idea of vast wealth.

More world leaders like Jose Mujica of Uruguay & the wolrd would be far better off.
