They're not going to be able to produce significant volumes of produce from just over 1/4 hectare but going by the comments on Reddit they also offer workshops to elementary and high school students, so a great initiative in an urban community.

That doesn't sound like a bad idea.
in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)
