$4M wasted on playing whale music to Kauri trees

You can't make this shit up.
Whoever approved this is fucked in the head.
That's why it's so important that the treaty principles bill passes.

And yet there are a couple of research projects underway that appear to show some classical music has the power to affect cancer cells quite dramatically.

I think it would be very foolish and not just a little arrogant, to think we know everything about our world, and its magic. And the best way to discover is through science.

from what I can gather it was funded as one of several projects to try and stop the Kauri dieback and Myrtle Rust diseases. presumably these don't have a cure so I guess you can't really blame anyone for funding multiple avenues in an attempt to find a cure...

IMHO probably not the most likely contender but sound as a healing mechanism is well documented, so I say why not?

Not sure what this has to do with the treaty principles bill though?
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

The taxpayers union...not even slightly unbiased.

Early days but it does seem that music may very well have apart to play in healing, particularly with reference to Parkinson's disease...

The effect music has on plant growth is well documented. Repeatedly researched and demonstrated.

But hey, that's woke science eh?
