There are protests planned across various states for April 5th.

Some of those signs are priceless.

"Wisconsin hates Elon so much it could be one of his kids"

"But it was the gulf of Mexico at birth"

"We shall overcomb"

"This is not a right or left moment. This is a right or wrong moment."

All five million were democrats you reckon? Radical left? Democrats would be horrified to think you thought they were radical lefties.

Truth is, there are very few radically left leaning folk in the US, radically left as we understand it that is.

Trump and Musk are not saviours they are idiots.

Apparently they do not even understand the very systems they have exploited to get to the financial positions they are in at present and if their criminal behaviour goes on we will end up in a massive depression.

Simple put, the wastage and inefficiencies etc they apparently are targeting, pensions, health aid, benefits are inherent to a stable and ongoing economy and reducing these entitlements will result in a least a recession.

THINK OF IT AS MONEY BEING A LUBRICANT WHICH KEEPS THE ECONOMY SMOOTHLY WORKING.

In itself money has no inherent value it is an understanding between traders or else we reduce down to bartering, money allows us to do fractional trades, it is not in and of itself a valuable thing. Money is an invention which allows us to trade freely.

If the billionaires have all the money which seems to be what they want to happen as they go on with their collecting money which they see as their right then the whole economic system will collapse.

The modern day economy is a man-made managed system to distribute the wealth of the society fairly to the citizens. If it is mismanaged it will collapse down to feudal levels and all will suffer even the billionaires.

What the billionaires want is another form of the corruption which plagues the new world economies which find it so hard to rise above the usual monetary grabbing by politicians, oligarchs, unscrupulous businessmen, nepotism, etc.

Let's wait for it to all play out.
Mass illegal immigration was damaging the country.
The tariffs might hurt in the short term but it's going to take a few years to build back up local industry.

Was it really? Or is that just propaganda? The stats suggest otherwise...

A good test would have been for me to go to the US and attempt to get residency over there without a green card.
It sounded like it was super easy under the biden administration.

Lots of things sound one way but in reality are completely different. Which means someone is telling fibs.

Yeah? How about those mass & probably also illegal DEportations then? To El Salvador? At least one of those people was wrongly deported.

Some realities about immigrants:

They do the jobs citizens don't want to do, but depend on.
They commit far fewer crimes than citizens.
They pay taxes. The wealthy often pay none.
They work for much lower wages than citizens.
They create businesses and strong communities that support each other.
Their children have birthright citizenship rights.
They are escaping regimes and lives often undermined by the negative actions of the US state.

And, as pointed out in another thread, most citizens are the children of immigrants. Immigrants build nations...

Yes that's my understanding as well, especially the part about getting workers who will work for less in jobs Americans don't want to d, in fact I thought that was what it was all about.

Trump is just a paranoid wanker.
