Well Chrome has finally done it!!

Chrome version 138 has turned off all my manifest 2 extensions and won't let me re-enable them...

Thanks to a post here
https://www.reddit.com/r/uBlockOrigin/co...hrome_now/

The next best work around is to modify the 'Target' field of the chrome shortcut - modifications in bold

"C:\Program Files\Google\Chrome\Application\chrome.exe" --profile-directory="Default"   --disable-features=ExtensionManifestV2Unsupported,ExtensionManifestV2Disabled

How long this lasts is anyone's guess - bit of an irony calling something being disabled or unsupported as a feature me thinks...
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

Because we are tech illiterate, despite following all the youtube hints to keep our devices safe.

But that question ignores the fact that not everyone can cook, or draw, or sing, or read music, or use a skill saw or a drill press...

Each to our own!

It's really not that hard to install a different web browser though...

If you know how to install programs at all, you can do it.
