How repulsive racism is. I have to keep telling myself it rises from pig ignorance. Education could fix that, but the foolish think they don't need it.

There's no fixing stupid.

It seems that, much like our ability to believe anything at all, there's also no limit to our stupidity...

The interesting thing though is the stats suggest racism, and other conservative traits are linked to a limited education.

Which is one of the reasons conservative governments tend to try to control the strategies, direction, and curricula of state education. And make accessing higher education more difficult and more expensive. The higher the degree the more chance the holder will be a left leaning greenie...

Its worth noting that education is free to all in some of those Scandinavian countries, the ones which tend to be left leaning. And which have high taxes to cover things like education & health.
And which tend to have the world's happiest people.... Rolleyes

You'd think the rest of the world might learn from that.

nothing is free, you love the idea of paying more tax go ahead or is it just other people paying more tax that appeals

University education is heavily subsidised by the taxpayers already

ONE MORE TIME: Yes, education IS funded by our taxes, THAT is the idea. FREE to access, having been paid for with taxes, hence "free education".

Which most manage to comprehend when the term free education is used..

It isn't free if people cannot afford it. If loans are required to access it. If only some of it comes without extra fees.

Cost is a barrier. If barriers exist it isn't free...
