yep, you can have quite a few email clients on PC/phone etc all checking the same account. For Gmail I believe the limit is 15

Only thing you have to be aware of, is they will also sync, so for example if you delete any email on one phone it will delete on the other.
Upgrades = Old bugs replaced with new Bugs.
