Unwanted TV Captions
#1
I have a Panasonic Viera TH-32E400Z TV and Subtitles have just started to appear, and I am unable to turn them off.

It appears that all I have to do on my Remote is press "STTL/AD and find subtitles. This isn't working on my Remote.

Anyone have any suggestions as to how I can turn these off.?

I haven't been able to find subtitles.

According to Google:

Method 1: Use the dedicated remote button
Look for a button labeled STTL or STTL/AD on your remote, which may be located under the volume buttons.
Press this button to toggle subtitles on and off.

Method 2: Use the on-screen menu
Press the Menu button on your remote control.
Navigate to the Setup or Accessibility option.
Find Closed Caption or Subtitle and select it.
Change the setting to Off.
Upgrades = Old bugs replaced with new Bugs.

Tried all that.

STTL/AD does not work and cannot find Closed Caption or Subtitle via Setup or Accessibility.

I think this is the same as ours -

Press the "Menu" button on the remote -

- down to "Option"
- across to "Subtitle Language"
- across to "Off"

Appears mine not the same. Menu shows
Picture
Sound
Timer
Setup
No Option etc. Thanks for trying to help. Much appreciated.
