'Mega strike" this week
#1
Nurses, teachers & others are set to strike this week, possibly the biggest labour action in moe than 40 years. Its due to wages, working conditions being persistently ignored by this govt.

And the govt is not best pleased, & trying to paint it as 'manipulative' & claiming that it's all the fault of 'Unions priortising politics over patients'...so, nothing at all to do with this govt prioritising profit for themselves & other wealthy people over the needs of ordinary people,then.... Dodgy

Millions to landlords, millions to the tobacco industry, legislation changed to benefit fossil fuel companies, kowtowing to international crooks, billions to war material suppliers for our defence forces, but the very people lauded as essential workers during the lockdowns get called out for asking for support as the economy crashes around us.

Dispicable government. One term tossers.

ah yes the old millions to landlords

you either treat rental houses as a business or you dont

Businesses pay tax and can deduct expenses like interest etc

defence spending why bother a few airliners full of troops would take over the country in a day

didnt nurses and teachers strike when comrade ardern was in dictatorship ?

one term government ..well lets see

They certainly deserve it. The only concern is that they're realised that & are now hell bent on doing as much damage & wreaking as much havoc as they can.
These are not good people.

You either allow people to be housed, or you don't.

And if you knowingly & deliberately don't, then that makes those doing so greedy, unfeeling people, lacking in empathy.

Our health system is deliberately being wrecked, very likely in order to privatise it. So that some can make a massive amount of money.
From other people's suffering.

Which says everything about this govt. Some of whom claim to be Chrstians... Dodgy

Why do you say that H?
IF (i'm dubious) lilith has a chip on her shoulder, it is infinitesimally tiny compared to the cavernous chip you appear to be toting around

As a business for sure. Not a licence to print money heisenberg. No good business kills its own market with repeated price rises.

Most landlords are not business people.

Sorry, I was wrong. About the millions to landlords thing.

It was billions in tax cuts.
