I don't know why they haven't already, they must be fairly pissed off with silly Trump tariffs and his posturing.
I think they already have called in debt in the past, they already own a large amount of real estate in USA especially New York. I think they owned the Empire State Building at one stage but it's not as valuable as it might seem since with the advent of modern computing office space is not as important as it used to be since the employees don't have to be clumped together anymore to function efficiently. With incompetent Trump in charge it might time to just wait and then buy up at really cheap prices when he collapses the economy.
