Onion skins can be used too. There must be loads of things which can be used for dyeing, I vaguely remember reading somewhere that some lichens are not bad for dyeing.
Did a bit of digging compost into garden earlier & decided to plant a few runner beans, possibly a bit early but then you never know your luck.
