Cats can be annoying, one of the cats around my lovely dog Stella would sometimes take a swipe at her face in passing which I would then follow up with a wrist flick on the offending cats bum so it got the idea that I did not approve of the behaviour.
Stella was always so good humoured and would always make nonplussed doggy smiles at me when the cat did this, I knew that the cat would be torn to pieces if Stella really wanted to retaliate as she was 50% red nosed pit bull and robust and fast moving, as Stella got older and slowed down which is when we got another cat who also swiped at Stella's face I was always worried that her eyes would be damaged because that is what cats go for in dogs and their delicate noses lol.

It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche
