Interesting. HGST have come out on top for years now. Some of those Seagate numbers are worrying. WD consistent as always.

I've got a couple of storage setups; 8x 3TB HDDs in a RAID 10 which I use for media storage (I'm a video editor), and 3x 2TB Samsung SATA SSDs in RAID 0 as a working drive. The HDD RAID is an odd combination of drives so I fully expect failures at some point, but it's all backed up to the cloud so not too worried.
