Another brilliant sci fi book/series turned into yet another action movie. Because the world so needs yet another action movie.
And they all have American accents on Dune, too - who knew.
Ah I do love people who base their opinion on a movie on a 2.5 minute trailer rather than actually going to see it.
I HAVE seen it and can say it was pretty good. This is if course Dune part 1 with part 2 due to be released in 2023. Not an action film but has some action scenes - how can you not show the attack on Dune by the Harkonnens? Jason Mamoa was good as Duncan as was Josh Brolin as Gurney. Stellan Skarsgard was suitably creepy as the Baron. No sign of the Emperor yet nor of Feyd Harkonnen.
