Forgot how slow-moving Jane Campion films can be.
Great looking film let down by a fairly minor and meandering plot. Musical score was excellent - a little disturbed. 3 out of 5 Snoozes

The competition is looking pretty light this year (yay for pandemics!) but I'm getting a feeling that much in the same way Campion's The Piano lost to Spielberg's Schindler's List in 1994, she might be dealing with his West Side Story this time at the Oscars.
