I sundried tomatoes once, on two screens sandwiched together to keep the bugs off. It worked fine too. My beefsteaks aren't getting quite that far, the ones the bugs haven't attacked are being eaten as they ripen, and the others go in the pot with basil and onions and a knob of butter to make that same pasta sauce. So good...

Last summer I made vats of cooked tomato and red onion purée from our enormous crops, froze it in 500 ml containers. It was really useful through the winter so tomorrow I'll make a start on this year's crops. It is also a good way to use spring onions that have overgrown.

I love growing tomatoes to make tomato sauce but my plants are not growing that well this year, my beefsteaks are rather small and plants growing quite slowly.
Seems others I know are having similar issues.
