I came across one which was allegedly a 'hack' for those with long hair worn up when in a car with the head rests - put the clip up higher on the head to avoid head rest!
Whoever would have thought...

Yeah, there is that. Or getting it caught in branches while trimming trees & shrubs - that's always fun especially when the clip manages to break.
