Microsoft Defender
#1
Recently I started getting, approximately daily, an email saying: Real-time protection was turned off on the Windows device Desktop .......
When I go to Defender I am told that the machine is protected, managed by Malwarebytes.  Can I stop the notification from Microsoft?

Seems to be a common issue if this thread is anything to go by
https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msof...284?page=1

Seems to be an issue when other AV software is in place (and presumably you are logged in to windows with a MS account as against a local account) .
Not a lot of consensus on cause or fixing but I think the simplest solution is set-up a filter in your email to delete them automagically. Maybe try switching to a local account also...
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

Its because you are more than likely signed in to MS As King posted.

Thats another reason I wont use ( or setup) a MS account, no need to tell them everything.

Try reading the following, advises how to disable the emails https://www.windowscentral.com/how-manag...windows-10
