Never heard of this one before, but it sounds quite nasty. Similar to phishing, it attemptds to get bank account details using technology not seen here previously.

This is only a problem for those silly enough to click on a link in a received email. The banks and most reputable online traders have desisted in sending links within emails or texts these days so if you receive messaging with a link in it it's an immediate red flag.

A friend is looking for a rather rare object. I found one she might be interested in and sent her a link. She growled at me, telling me she won't open any links...
Red flag perhaps, but what is the point of the interweb without them?

That's the problem; useful but use at own risk..

Seems quite an amateurish attempt by some kid, but sadly many people still fall for these scams, I see a fair bit of it.
