The good old 4K video downloader doesn't seem to work anymore.
What's the best video downloading app for use with Youtube; mainly for music/songs.

Quite a few negative reviews and it seems it's not working anymore!
"Used this add on for many years and for many years worked flawlessly. Sad to see it go. Now it does absolutely nothing as of mid 2024. Seems developer has abandoned the project. Any positive reviews must be from bots or developer himself." '

Admittedly I haven't used it for a month or two but I've used it for years. However it last updated 3rd May and seems to be not working, so, sorry for the bad info.
It's a constant battle against google to keep this sort of addon working.

Dont know if this still works, but was free on Winningpc as a giveaway. Works great, with so many options on how to download anything from YouTube. Music Video what ever. You can have a video playing but only download its Audio ( as an example)

There's a new version of 4K video downloader but you will have to pay for it again. My old one still works fine but I had to upgrade my wife's version.
