Bloody well ought to be frightened too. I know you like to discount science, but the evidence is all around us and people are starting to die. Like any catastrophe these things start slowly then speed up. Fortunately I'm old, I might just manage to die before I have to watch the death toll mount.

Because mount it will. And with it civilisation will be rocked, if not toppled...

 just let nature take its course and throw things back into balance.

hmm sounds like another extinction level event in the making...
Nature did a number on Venus and its runaway greenhouse effect.

I think we should probably try to prevent that sort of thing if we can...
