US Presidential Election Nov 6th

She slept her way into her first major political appointment, achieved very little as a senator and then was picked as VP by virtue of being a non-white woman. She then failed miserably in her attempt at winning the Dem candidacy via the normal route but then ended up there anyway via a backdoor appointment. Finally, she was soundly rejected by the American voting public despite running against supposedly the worst candidate there ever has ever been. All with a huge amount of support from wealthy donors and high profile celebrity endorsements.

So, for her to be forced on America against their clearly stated will would be totally undemocratic but mostly just tragic. It would essentially just be her playing at being an actual president, desperately trying to pretend that she hadn't been rejected by the voters.

Isn't it ever so interesting how a successful woman is invariably said to have 'slept her way to the top' - the first reaction of ther dyed-in-the-wool mysogynist. Because in their dimmest of dim views, no woman can ever have the skills or intelligence to do so without some kind of underhandedness.

Oddly, quite similar to the type of underhandedness some men have used in order to succeed, Harvey Weinstein being a well known example. Dodgy

Also very interesting that that particular nasty little accusation is now seen for what it is, at least in America (for now) where it is illegal harrasmant & sexual discrimination.

And yet you kind of prove my point regardless. I.e. if Trump really is that awful a person, Harris must be a remarkably useless candidate to lose against him so badly.

Or, thousands have been misled by Trump.

I'm not an expert on history by any means but I understand that has happened inh the past...a few times, including by Adolf Hitler not so long ago.

And from what I've read, more than a few lived to regret that. Though of course, some didn't.

Live, that is....
in order to be old & wise, you must first be young & stupid. (I'm still working on that.)
