Now that it's becoming more well-known that overall we probably don't have much more time for a great number of people because of climate change etc I predict that there will be more and more short cuts and kludges/bodges done in many areas to make-do just in the meantime.

Presumably in an effort to become wealthy - much good that's likely to do them if our planet's truly doomed..
