Failed hard drives NAS is it me or the hard drives?

Those synology NAS units are pretty good, typically you should have 2 drives installed as a RAID 1 mirror, if one drive fails, it should give a notification and you simply swap the drive over with a new one.
Its normal and common for drives to fail, hence the reason for redundancy. |
