Did you read the bit about people with longer sentences having more access to rehabilitation and having more successful re-entry into society?

The data shows that people who serve longer sentences are less likely to re-offend, so your insinuation that longer sentences turn people into hardened criminals that are more likely to re-offend isn't actually supported by the facts.

heisenburg is definitely not a fan of long sentences. Usually seems to have trouble stringing more than half a dozen words together and punctuation is totally off the menu.
