You really are ignorant of the way things have played out in Israeli aren't you? Do you live under a rock?

The Israeli Defence Forces and the regulations placed restricting movement and basic freedoms of Palestinians have long been begging a response from the disaffected population. Hamas has acted as a mouthpiece for that social abuse as was pretty predictable. Heavy handed on Hamas's part but then so was the harm being inflicted by Israel. After all if you keep poking a dog with a stick then sooner or later that dog will retaliate, and that action from Hamas was the bite. The Israelis are just fortunate that force hasn't been brought to bear by the bigger players in the Middle Eastern Islamic arena, yet. A couple of well placed missiles into Tel Aviv would wake up their ideas a bit.

Israel has refused to obey international law and the flotilla has done what they have to force a point in supplying food and aid to a population that is having genocide inflicted on it. To deny the right for them to do so is to demonstrate complicity to Israel's genocide. Our government has demonstrated they don't have the spine to call Israel out and good luck to the brave individuals in the flotilla who are attempting to do so.
