I just don't want to have to keep reading his right wing nonsense and his ill-bred way of conveying it.

He's not listening to any arguments we make and is just here to troll us he has already said so and should be banned.

You could put him on your ignore list, although that doesn't filter out anything of his that someone else quotes. Still might be better than nothing.

Indeed, by his own admission his intention is to troll rather than engage honestly, as shown by his penchant for unsubstantiated claims that he refuses to back up or explain - because he can't, and he knows it.

I think we'd be a very boring little backwater puddle if we didn't have  a few spikey ones keeping us thinking. I like the challenge of countering their positions

I'm not sure there's much you can do to counter someone who's now made it clear their position is as a "turd on the lawn" (heisenberg's words, not mine) just to annoy others (aka trolling). Such people have no argument, nor do they have any desire for a rational debate or conversation, so there's nothing to counter. It's all just drivel.
