New school lunches don't give kids enough energy

I think the whole lunch program should be scrapped anyway, lots of kids get them that don't require it.
It's the parents responsibility to feed their kids anyway.
A better option would be to supply schools with food and let the kids make sandwiches as they please.
Some schools appeared to be doing something similar to this prior.

So you don't mind kids going hungry then?

It doesn't bother you that people on a low wage or unemployment benefit can't afford to feed their kids?

Is it bollocks - when we have so many kids going hungry, it is everyone's responsibility to feed those kids. 
And fixing the cause wouldn't be a bad idea either.

Especially when we as taxpayers are subsidising every child's education of to the tune of $10,000 or so a year...  Wasted money if kids are hungry...

Yep, exactly, kids can't learn if they're hungry. But it seems David Seymour isn;t concerned about that...
