Wasn't it though; makes me afraid for our descendants since the idiots in charge across the world seem disinclinded to annoy big oil by actiually doing anything to help. Dodgy

It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

A wee bit, years ago.

We've been enjoying the NZ made Madam series. Some great acting with Rachel Griffiths and Rima Te Wiata as leads of what is threatening to be a slow motion train wreck sort of story. I'm intrigued too as to who is playing the role of the severely physically disabled son. I suspect the disability is for real as acting the part would be extremely difficult. The part doesn't come up in the IMDB cast list so probably a disabled individual that has truly met good fortune to gain this part.

I'm watching that too, also good to see Danielle Cormack in it, & yes that actor surely must be disabled.

Live & let Dai, doco by & about Dai Jenkins. Its specifically about his experience with having cancer, & well worth seeing.

And currently re watching Nurse Jackie, with Edie Falco; still as good as it was the first time.

This was not bad, storyline a bit average but still worth a watch for the action/thrills.  The wife wasn't impressed though...

I love sci fi. But ever since the first Alien I have been reluctant to go there, lol.

I am enjoying two series on free networks though - Tulsa King, another Sheridan Taylor piece, and Last King of the Cross. Dangerous men have always appealed to me, lol...

Tulsa king is definitely one to watch

Pie In The Sky - a British cop show from the '90's. I remember watching it sometimes back then, and a few years ago found it on a Youtube channel, then they were blocked.  They seem to be back, so I'm watching again.  A cop show with no murders and no violence...how is that possible ?  And the theme music with that baritone sax - glorious !

Enjoyed the first season of The Bear and plan to catch the start of season 2 tonight. Gritty drama with an insight into the stress and demands of life in the restaurant sector.

Billy Bob Thornton is great in this. A good watch and quite hilarious at times.
