Lord Louis Mountbatten, I saw him years ago on a special school trip to Ndola Park, Zambia where he gave a speech, he came to a sticky end, for some reason I was and still am shocked by how his life ended.
On 27 August 1979, Mountbatten was murdered when IRA terrorists blew up his boat off the coast of County Sligo, Ireland, near his family holiday home at Classiebawn Castle.
