Nine priests/clergy have chained themselves in front of Nicola Willis's office, other protesters trespassed. They're calling for the govt to take action against Israel. The nine clergy plan to atay overnight.
Five members of clergy doing a similar protest outsdie Simeon Brown's office were served trespass notices.

they aren't all bad though. Yep there's been some abuses historically but i don't see it as typical of all religious representatives.

So Hassidic Jews protesting Israel's genocidal policies are also a bit rich? The religious can have political views that are separate from their faith. Look at Christian Nationalism for example, neither Christian nor patriotic... Islamic zealots? Certainly not followers of the religion of peace.
Sometimes the political is not just political. In fact, when it manifests in extreme forms it may even rise out of the political and into something else entirely. Especially in these days when the political can be donned like a costume to enable wealth building, as Charlie Kirk and Donald Trump have demonstrated rather clearly.

Just checked & they're still there. Nice juxtaposition of the smiling image & that sign...
They're calling on the minister to "come out & break bread'. I doubt she'll go anywhere near them, but they're saying they'll stay until she speaks to them; good luck with that.
She claims that its 'intimidating for members of the public'. Really Nicola? fairly sure its not as 'intimidating' as starvation & constant bombings...

Must say I find anyone who follows a dogmatic religion a tad intimidating. But that's probably because for me that's a symptom of unbalanced mental health.
But I do like a bit of quiet protest. The world needs more of that.
