Womens Cricket World Cup
#21
Just the sort of day to settle down and have some lunch, a beer (only one  Beer ) and watch the women's cricket
Despite the high cost of living it remains popular

I’m enjoying the two or three second bursts at a time that I’m allowed. It might deter me from gardening this afternoon!

I love cricket.

thats a challenging run total theyve set
and we are right on target, lulling them into a false sense of security.
5 wickets down before 20 overs are bowled...the game plan an unusual approach from the new zealanders
but flawless so far in its execution.

A must win for the women today (for both teams in fact). A positive start by Devine and Bates, so that's good to see - it's not a day for just nudging about singles.

Hoping that the weather doesn't play too much of a part...

Good while it lasted, and now back to the usual dross they've been serving up this tournament. Not good enough when you've got home advantage.

Oh well, who'd want to make the semis and have to play the Aussies?
