The servers are based in europe.
Im wondering if there could be a high ping with some users.

Anyone having issues, press your windows key + R, type "cmd" (without the quotes) and press enter.
Then type "ping tmmb.co.nz" (without quotes)

Copy and paste the output you are getting.

You should get a similar response to this:

Pinging tmmb.co.nz [193.34.145.204] with 32 bytes of data:
Reply from 193.34.145.204: bytes=32 time=295ms TTL=52
Reply from 193.34.145.204: bytes=32 time=292ms TTL=52

I'm wondering if there is internet disruption today.  I haven't had any problem getting into this site, but have had no end of bother with various Gmail accounts and it took me about ten minutes just now to get into a Westpac account.

Could be - I've just found that I can't share music to FB. It comes up 'app not set up' -  I've never had one & its always shared no problem till now.

I just tried to post a response but it vanished. Another oddness for today.

Anyway, it may be the full moon, or maybe we can blame it on the Prime Minister. She was off sick today and could have spent the day at home meddling with the internet...

I am somewhat relieved by this thread. I was starting to wonder if this ancient android tablet was losing its power...

But seems like it might be something else at work.

Its doing the 'this site can't be reached' thing again today - just briefly, before going to the page.

Just got a 'Can't be found' message and had to go back to the front page of the site to get back in.

Out of interest have you had any issues with DDoS attacks lately? We have had to implement a proxy server (CloudFlare) due to the massive numbers of bot attempts to access our admin area which was making it near impossible to get into our own website. That and a bit more jiggerypokery seems to have solved the proble.  Touch wood Undecided

I'm finding that most of the time if you wait a few seconds after opening a page, it reloads automatically.

The annoyance is when posting though - here is a couple of quick tips I find helpful

Quick Reply:
if the post doesn't go through within 10 seconds (ie the spinning circle), just hit the post reply button again. Easy enough to delete a double up if that happens

For a full reply or edit: If it fails to post and reload the page, you can do a "refresh" of the tab using the refresh button or F5 on windows, but you will need to say yes to re-submitting the form. Normally that is not recommended, especially for purchase transactions, but in this case for a simple post it is Ok.

and, if in doubt or if its a decent sized post that took a bit of time to construct, take a copy of the text just in case, while we work through these problems...

Appreciate everyone's patience while we work through this...

nzoomed has sent an email and some screenshots, plus other data they required, to the webhosts.  We are waiting on a reply from them.
