I can see this thread gravitating into an analysis of the 'rights' of US citizens but as we're actually discussing the likelihood of Trump becoming elected to the position of preseident despite having numerous serious court proceedings pending and potentially even being incarcerated I really have difficultly understanding the logic of the US legal system.

that seems to show one individual being escorted around the building by security, which is probably better than leaving him on his own.
This world would be a perfect place if it wasn't for the people.

Yes, but the dialog between both of them seemed rather peaceful to be honest.
Anyway Trump never arranged that whole thing at all.

Pretty much my take on it too. As stated the QAnon guy was unarmed so couldn't be contrued as a threat that needed to be neutralised so as a US citizen he was probably entitled to visit a public venue and the security escorted him while he did so.

It was the crazy shit he embarked on following his 'guided tour' that got him locked up.

From what I can tell is he was the one who took the whole brunt of it and was at the wrong place at the wrong time.
I don't even think he was into all that Qanon BS.

Far from normal, but its not like its anything offensive, just a coonskin cap with horns, sure the guy might seem a bit odd, but seemed harmless, as you said  he had no weapons on him.
Question needs to be was really who organized the riots.
I know for a fact that groups were already sent in by the bus load organized by ANTIFA.

There was a certain orange twat who seems to now be getting a good part of the blame on that front.

It would appear that Trump may be prohibited from regaining presidency under the wording of the US's 14th Amendment. We can only hope the US legislature have the spine to uphold their own laws.
https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archiv...cy/675048/

"This protection, embodied in the amendment’s often-overlooked Section 3 [of the Fourteenth Amendment], automatically excludes from future office and position of power in the United States government—and also from any equivalent office and position of power in the sovereign states and their subdivisions—any person who has taken an oath to support and defend our Constitution and thereafter rebels against that sacred charter, either through overt insurrection or by giving aid or comfort to the Constitution’s enemies."

I had forgotten this, Trump in full flow:

"Look, having nuclear — my uncle was a great professor and scientist and engineer, Dr. John Trump at MIT; good genes, very good genes, OK, very smart, the Wharton School of Finance, very good, very smart — you know, if you’re a conservative Republican, if I were a liberal, if, like, OK, if I ran as a liberal Democrat, they would say I'm one of the smartest people anywhere in the world — it’s true! — but when you're a conservative Republican they try — oh, do they do a number — that’s why I always start off: Went to Wharton, was a good student, went there, went there, did this, built a fortune — you know I have to give my like credentials all the time, because we’re a little disadvantaged — but you look at the nuclear deal, the thing that really bothers me — it would have been so easy, and it’s not as important as these lives are — nuclear is so powerful; my uncle explained that to me many, many years ago, the power and that was 35 years ago; he would explain the power of what's going to happen and he was right, who would have thought? — but when you look at what's going on with the four prisoners — now it used to be three, now it’s four — but when it was three and even now, I would have said it's all in the messenger; fellas, and it is fellas because, you know, they don't, they haven’t figured that the women are smarter right now than the men, so, you know, it’s gonna take them about another 150 years — but the Persians are great negotiators, the Iranians are great negotiators, so, and they, they just killed, they just killed us, this is horrible."

The poor chap is being picked on, it's not really his fault.
I believe he suffers from twisted valves - his throat  and rectum somehow swapped delivery functions. This is why he always wipes his lips with a tissue after he speaks, just stay well clear if he sneezes . . . .

No matter, Chinese students say he's done more to assist the rise of China than any other person since Chairman Mao.
