Donald Trump Admits He Received Money From China While President

It's not the least charm of a theory that it is refutable. The hundred-times-refuted theory of "free will" owes its persistence to this charm alone; some one is always appearing who feels himself strong enough to refute it - Friedrich Nietzsche

What's the problem with that?
It's called globalism  he was doing business with China.
I'm sure the democrats are too.
Besides, it was Trump who spearheaded bringing back manufacturing to the US, now Biden is copying that.
It will be very interesting to see what goes down when Trump wins the 2024 election.

Huge leap of faith there CT. Trump has a few significant hurdles to jump for that to become reality.

He's got a ton of support, especially after biden scrapped the wall construction.
Now when all the criminals actually flooded across the border and shifted to Democrat strongholds, only then are they so pissed off that they were forced to restart the wall construction again.

"Criminals" fgs? Desperate people is rather more accurate... Dodgy

And sadly, his support seems to come from the ill informed, ill educated extreme right brigade. If we lived in a more reasonable, less unequal world then this would not be happening, but human greed has taken us down this path.

He really is unbelievably appalling. The "poisoning the blood of our country" comment is straight from the Hitler handbook on how to rile up the ignorant & narrow-minded. He's a despicable person.

De Santis has bowed out and endorsed Trump. That leaves only 1 other contender for the GOP nomination now. It is almost a certainty he will win the nomination.

America truly is a devolving society when for 2 elections the best leaders they can offer is Biden and Trump. America and the world deserves and should demand better.

On a side note - looking forward to seeing Alex Garlands new film Civil War.

https://slate.com/culture/2023/12/liz-ch...trump.html

"Without a doubt, the nation owes a debt to Liz Cheney, whose new memoir, Oath and Honor, rocketed to the top of the bestseller lists this week. The book recounts the aftermath of the 2020 election, as Cheney—a politician of the type that used to be described as a rock-ribbed conservative—found herself increasingly at odds with the party that has dominated her life.

“The things we do for the Orange Jesus,” she overheard Republican Rep. Mark Green of Tennessee sigh as he signed a document objecting to the electoral count on Jan. 6, 2021, not long before a mob of Trump supporters stormed the Capitol. As the rioters attempted to break down the doors to the House chamber, members were told they needed to prepare to hide under their chairs. “We need to get the ladies off the aisle,” announced Trump loyalist ringleader Ohio Republican Jim Jordan, who reached a hand out to Cheney, offering, “Let me help you up.” Cheney understandably went ballistic (this was not the first time she’d been treated with clueless condescension by her GOP colleagues) and swatted his hand. “Get away from me,” Cheney reports she retorted. “You f—ing did this.”

I feel like the odd time I listen to that sort of tripe from the orange goon I can sense my brain cells self-destructing. That might explain why those who hang on his every word are stupid enough to vote for him.

Yet another nail in Trump's coffin, or will his devotees ignore this ruling as victimising their hero?

No doubt its another conspiracy against his innocence...

So far, according to him its a 'political weapon' (& to be fair, there's probably some truth in that) & c;ai,s that its no longer America' - the man's an idiot boy.

The court says he must pay $83 million to Jean Carroll - $7.3 compensatory damages outside of the reputation repair profgramme,$11 million in compensatory reputation repair only, & $65 million in punitive damages.

I think she'll be extremely lucky to ever see anything like that sum.
