True story.. '07 saw us in UK, on 1st Sat morning in Convent Gardens a performer mentioned to any visitors present get up to Newcastle. Twas always my intention as I
wanted the complete series of When The Boat Comes In.
A week later found us staying in a hotel in Newcastle, having dinner on our 1st evening chap comes over introduces himself as the owner, strikes up conversation leading to an invite to play
a popular Pub game by the name of Shut The Box. after we get the hang of it, he suggest we make it a little more interesting by betting on each round.

Eventually the kitty is up round 10 quid, he looks @ his watch & says time to check on the other guests.
Packing the game up picks up the  money, proceeds to shake our hands getting to our daughter [then aged 13] instead of shaking her hand he placed the winnings in her hand with the 
words "Enjoy the rest off your trip."

Better play a song, don't want the moderators saying we are trying to hijack the Music Thread
