  Orcon email outage?
Posted by: nzoomed - 09-12-2024, 02:21 PM - Forum: PressF1 - Replies (6)

I still have an orcon email address ive used for decades now (showing my age) mostly for trademe and get a ton of trademe related emails to it, just noticed between the 5th and this morning there has been no emails that have arrived.
Checked webmail and nothing new in there either, and nothing in spam, was wondering if anyone else here has an orcon address and experienced issues?

Question What are the treaty principles?
Posted by: C_T_Russell - 08-12-2024, 11:01 PM - Forum: Opinion and Politics - Replies (11)

No one can find that answer, bit like religions many unanswered questions.
Good thing we have Dave Seymour to take this on and define them.
The Maori should be on board with this, but TPM would rather organize a car-koi and recruit more people against pakeha.

Who wouldn't want equal rights for all? What is wrong with David Seymours treaty principles bill exactly?

Seems TPM want more division and are wanting their own race based parliament, it's pretty evident who wants to go against the treaty isn't it?

  The mistake with the bootcamp....
Posted by: C_T_Russell - 08-12-2024, 09:19 PM - Forum: Opinion and Politics - Replies (15)

Is that those kids should have been thrown in prison to begin with.
They are dangerous as was evident being armed with a machete.
Then we have to put up with Chloe saying it the boot camps fault that this happened, no Chloe, the boot camp didn't turn them violent, get a grip.

  I highly recommend watching Heretic
Posted by: C_T_Russell - 08-12-2024, 09:15 PM - Forum: Movies & TV - No Replies

Such a great film, went and saw this last night.
So many parallels to the Jehovah's Witnesses, we used to get guys at the door who knew more about the history the cult than what we did and would ask tough questions that we could never answer.

Alot of that stuff was probably what planted some seeds of doubt for me, especially the time a householder showed us the pyramid headstone near the founders grave.

They recently removed it as they try to cover up and rewrite their history, especially around their roots with Freemasonry.

Another bit of trivia, the Mormon church is also founded by freemasons, but they don't even try and hide it.

Not even the sky for shelter, homelessness.
Posted by: Lilith7 - 08-12-2024, 02:20 PM - Forum: News and Current Affairs - No Replies

Half those who are homeless are women around 50,00 of them. I remember reading recently about empty buildings in various places, which  could perhaps be made suitable for people who are homeless.
It really is disgraceful that we've allowed things to get so very bad here. Angry

Regional MP's object as flights cut
Posted by: Lilith7 - 07-12-2024, 02:27 PM - Forum: News and Current Affairs - Replies (2)

Daily direct flights between Rotorua & Welly to be cut from February to June next year. No doubt this situation will be swiftly fixed...unlike other problems like poverty, healthcare etc. etc. which don't affect MP's...
